Georges Favre-Jacot: The Founder of the Zenith Manufacture
Georges Favre-Jacot (1843–1917) founded Zenith in 1865 in Le Locle, Switzerland, pioneering the integrated "manufacture" model that brought the whole watchmaking process under one roof, but late in life he was pushed aside from the company's leadership.
