Two-Track Analysis
Every major decision is actually made twice at once: once by the rational part weighing real costs and benefits, and once by the subconscious part reacting along well-worn psychological grooves. Charlie Munger called this "two-track analysis" — and considered ignoring the second track the most common error in human thinking.
